Estos programas y otro tantos forman parte de la lista de la revista Time de las “100 mejores series de la televisión”.

Este centenar incluye a las series, programas de concurso, los talk shows, telenovelas, deportes, videos y hasta comerciales. No tienen un orden numérico sino que están organizados de forma alfabética y abarcan desde los primeros años de la televisión hasta los realizados el año pasado.

James Poniewozik, autor de la lista, explica los criterios que tomó en cuenta para el listado: voces, originalidad, ideas, influencia y personajes. Otros, como conciencia social, valores morales, contenido educativo e influencia, también fueron evaluados pero no pesan tanto. “Sinceramente espero que después de que se haya visto uno o cinco episodios, uno no mejore su actitud”.

Pero aclara que estos productos de la pantalla chica son, en su mayoría, los hechos para la televisión estadounidense.
